I appreciated the on-site laundry facilities. It was a real help. having a beer at the bar while doing laundry made it better. i also liked the quick taxi service staff arranged.

modern stay with practical perks

daily cleaning laundry facilities convenient location surprise bidet
I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. daily cleaning was thorough, a definite plus. laundry facilities were convenient. i found the location worked well. It was near both bus stops and train stations. there even was a bidet. That was a surprise!
the staff in the cafe seemed, unfriendly, actually. their attitude created a slightly unwelcome atmosphere. it was off-putting, especially when working from my laptop there and paying for food and drinks. but overall things were still good.

The brunch menu had smoked salmon on toast. It was delicious. coffee and tea options available in the room were a nice convenience. the breakfast setup was more geared toward continental selections. Still satisfying overall. the quality was high.

breakfast buffet honest staff scrambled eggs
the breakfast buffet was a good deal. i enjoyed the scrambled eggs and salmon. also, the staff were very honest. someone lost cash in the lobby, and the hotel returned it!

the hotel offers regular bus service to the main part of the city right across the road. a river promenade is near the hotel, it makes for an enjoyable walk.
